About Episcopal Community Services

Episcopal Community Services (ECS) was founded in 1963 by the Episcopal Diocese of Minnesota to address the health and welfare needs of communities within the Diocese and state.

Our Mission

Grounded in faith, sustained by hope, and acting through love, Episcopal Community Services strengthens and supports adults, youth, children and families at risk and in need.

Our Vision

ECS provides individualized, comprehensive services to families, children and youth living in poverty or suffering from emotional, behavioral or addictive disorders. With an emphasis on building positive relationships, ECS utilizes a continuum of services at sites throughout the region to help participants achieve economic self-sufficiency and a healthy interdependence in their families and communities.

The needs of body, mind and spirit are supported by a holistic approach utilizing the best practices from the fields of education, business, social work, psychology and spirituality.
